I would like to add some additional positive comments in reference to the job completed at my home on 29 July 2009. The crew arrived and hit the ground running. In a matter of hours they had the 12 old windows removed and replaced with Starmarks. The crew took extra care to place walking mats in the traffic areas inside my home. The window weight pockets were filled with dense packed cellulose and caulked into place. The workplace was kept very clean and neat of debris during the whole project. The window crew, headed by Donald Williams, was exceptional in their courtesy and workmanship on the 12 Starmark windows and the trim work. They have given a fresh new look to the grand old home, which was very much appreciated. I am planning to continue the replacement of the remaining windows in the next year or so. This note is written to thank you for your professional response to my call/inquiry this afternoon regarding the installation of a new water heater at my house. I was obviously distressed that the installation job had not been scheduled as the manager had assured me on 2/13/08, especially since my old water heater was leaking and I was concerned it might flood my basement.
Your handling of my call was greatly appreciated. In the absence of the manager, you implemented a service plan and then called me back within a few minutes to inform me that one of the crew, Eric, would be calling me back with the particulars. Eric called, came in less than an hour, started the prep work on the old water heater and fixed the gas leaks. By the time the installation crew arrived they could proceed with installing the new water heater.
Your efforts in resolving the installation scheduling were indicative of an individual truly committed to customer service. Thanks to your efforts, the job was completed by three very efficient, skillful workers.

Your people were so professional, and neat in appearance, polite and so helpful, we can't say enough. Starting with your salesman, John Scipione, who was very helpful and informative. He did an energy audit, and also demonstrated all of your windows for us. He must have unloaded his whole truck! Next was your heating team led by Patrick Herbert. I'm sorry but we didn't get all of their names, except Eric, who is your service man. We can't say enough about that team. Everything that you promised, they delivered. They were polite, courteous, fast, neat and very knowledgeable.
Then came your window and door team headed up by Tom Reynolds. They were Don Williams, Jeff Williams, Jeremy Poel and Shawn Jarsinski. Again, on time, courteous, neat and very skillful. We have never met a finer bunch of professional people in our many years of doing business with any type of contractor. Tom Reynolds bent over backwards for us. Every request, or thought, was answered by him. He came to our house several times just to make sure everything was measured properly, all colors matched and he even had our locks coordinated with our house keys. Don Williams helped us in every way possible. He answered all of our questions, demonstrated all of the windows and the front door and replaced our storm door.
If anyone needs a reference, we would be more than happy to give you one. We were recommended by a friend of ours, who had his windows replaced by you and are glad we were. We are also going to write a letter to the Better Business Bureau and tell them what a wonderful experience we had doing business with you.

This note is a test-of-time assessment of sorts on the work your company performed on our home in 2002. We remain more than pleased with the results after the passage of five years.
Now that energy costs have escalated so dramatically, we feel a bit smug that GreenHomes's work is allowing us to heat and cool our house at costs that remain very reasonable. Even on the top of high and windy Onondaga Hill!
You will recall that your company installed new energy efficient windows and doors in our home, renewed wall insulation as needed and applied vinyl siding with associated air leak barrier/insulation material. It has all worked out very well functionally and all visible items are still looking good without failures.
We also still remember the positive experience of spending much time with your crews, staff and yourself. Your people did their best to minimize our frustrations of living in a house under renovation. If we had it to do over again, we would definitely select GreenHomes as our contractor.

One of our concerns when we first met you was hot to install a window in our bathroom. As you are aware, the opening was very unusual. Your suggestion of installing glass bricks was a great one. You will recall that I was not keen on the idea at first, but when the installation was completed, I have to give you much credit as it was the correct solution for this application. It looks super.
We are also more than pleased with the operation and quality of the windows. We have noticed a decrease in outside noise since the installation and look forward to total energy benefits.
What I am most impressed with is the professional manner of your installation crew. I cannot say enough in the way they conducted themselves. Their quality of workmanship deserved much kudos. The person who did the inside molding finish work was very good. Also, the persons who did the outside finish of the windows were very good as well.
