Was experiencing intermittent issues with the heating system. The service manager and technician at Feldman Heating were excellent. While it was hard to recreate the issue at times during the repair, the team was very good at diagnostics and was able to pinpoint the issue. The repairs were reasonably priced, and more importantly, they were completed in a very timely fashion. Would highly recommend using them.

I have had a few problems with my boiler and they have been responsive even after hours. They even spent hour investigating a "weird noise I heard" I recommend them highly.
My furnace and a/c were well over 30 years old, and my water heater was 28 years old. None of them had been serviced since I bought the house 17 years ago because I'm bad about preventative maintenance: I fix something if it's broken. None of them worked well any more (hot water and a/c were tepid, and the furnace worked but made scary exploding noises), and I'd planned to replace them all. Anticipating winter, I contacted another well-reviewed HVAC company ("JB") in late October, but they would replace only the water heater, and they couldn't get to it until Christmas. They refused to just replace the furnace and a/c. They insisted on doing a full survey and system design, including measurements of rooms, calculation of heating and cooling needs, optimum ductwork and vent placement, etc—as if my house had never had central heating and cooling before. Their attitude was so highhanded and unreasonable that I gave up in discouragement.
In the middle of January, a few days before a forecast temperature drop and heavy snow, my furnace stopped working completely. In desperation, I called Feldman, who had maintained the HVAC system in my house for years for the previous owners. I spoke to Rose, who immediately seemed like an old friend and treated me as if I was one. She said she'd try to send a service technician out to help me that day. A couple of hours later Travis arrived and spent an hour or so checking out the decrepit furnace, while patiently and clearly telling what he was doing and why. In the end, he said the heat exchanger was so badly disintegrated that it was unsafe and practically impossible to replace. I could see with my own eyes that he was telling the truth. He recommended a new furnace, and I agreed, hoping I could get new a/c at the same time. He called Ryan in sales, who happened to be driving in the area and arrived a few minutes later. He also was friendly, clear and informative, and he inspired my trust, just as Travis had. We agreed on replacing all three appliances, and he said they'd start the next day if the equipment was in stock.
Bottom line: two days later I have a new water heater and new HVAC appliances, beautifully installed and functioning perfectly. The snow started this morning, and I'm so grateful I don't know how to express it. Thank you, Rose, for treating me, a complete stranger, like an old friend. Thank you, Travis (and Russ, who also worked on the installation), for your technical expertise, your elegant and beautiful installation, and your amazing customer support skills. You made a traumatic experience a pleasure. Thank you, Feldman, for saving me from a dire situation so quickly and at such a reasonable cost. You're the best.
