I called for service on my air conditioning unit and in a timely manner Matt came to fix it. He was thorough, Informative and explained everything! He was professional and nice to deal with. Gellite Air is fair and reliable. Will always use them.
Mike, an Air Conditioner Tech just left my house after getting the A/C up and running. I was not looking forward to being without A/C this weekend.
He came in and begin trouble shooting, discovered the problem and fixed it.
He definitely knows what he is doing and is very personable as well.
Without question, I will be requesting him any time I have A/C problems in the future.
....Simply Amazing.... From the time that we contacted GallettAir their staff have been simply over the top. Our E-mail to them was answered in less then an hour. Setting up the appointment was a pleasant experience. Their phone was answered professionally and in a timely manner. All information that was given over the phone was used in conjunction with their field techs in trying to diagnose the problem. The field techs arrived within the time window that we were given. Mike and John arrived with a smile on their faces, were very polite and respectful. Even asked permission to enter our home, ( How many times did you have service people enter your home like they owned it?.....just food for thought). Mike and john not only entered our home, BUT not before placing plastic booties over their work shoes. That blew our minds... This only happened way back in the day when businesses only cared about their customers and were TRUE SERVICE PROFESSIONALS. We thought that "Philosophy" was lost in time...It didn't stop there. As a team, they quickly diagnosed the problem and made the correct repair. Not only were they polite and respectful, but they are true professionals in their trade. They took the time to explain the problem and how they corrected it. All this took place on the hottest week of this year. I have been working in the field of construction for over 38 years. My wife and I are from the old mindset. True professionalism goes a long way with both her and myself. As of this moment moving forward, I can with all sincerity say, that GallettAir will not only handle the services for our central A/C unit but for all of our heating needs as well. GallettAir just gained another customer. We will tell anyone and everyone that we have found a company that is a throwback in time." GallettAir". .... Please do not change your business formula!!!!!! Great Company! I have been a customer almost 20 years and couldn't be more satisfied. Their expert technicians are friendly and take the time to answer your questions. Most important, they are honest and are there when you need them.
Called them in an emergency, on a Sunday - water was coming down the walls from my attic. Within only a few hours, a very polite man named Mike was at my door. He described the problem and the exact steps needed to fix it. Service was fast and efficient. I will be purchasing a service contract with them. Excellent service!
So, I need to update my original review. Since that emergency visit, GallettAir has returned on three more occasions...needless to say, I have not had working air conditioning for almost three weeks. A week after my initial visit, the air conditioning stopped working completely. On the third visit, I was told that my pan was cracked and that they could order the parts (why the crack wasn't noticed on the first two visits is beyond me). I was told it would take approximately 3 days for the new pan to arrive, but I could not schedule an appointment until it was received. It took a week for the new pan to come in, but due to my schedule, I could not schedule an appointment until three days later. So, today was the day, and after they arrived to do the job, they noticed that the wrong pan was received, and they could not complete the job today. They had three days to make sure that they received the correct pan before showing up for the appointment! Now, they have to reorder the part, and I have to miss yet another day of work (day 4) to wait during a 5 hour block of time. Tom, the repairman, felt really bad, and I do want to recognize his professionalism. The entire experience, however, has been a nightmare.
Hopefully my final addendum to this review. Carmine and his team came through for me. Despite my disappointment this afternoon, another crew came back (Tom is amazing) tonight and resolved the issue. My air conditioner is humming for the first time in weeks. I am looking forward to a comfortable night's sleep. Customer service is clearly important to this company, and you will not be disappointed by their service.
